City & Guilds is the largest vocational accreditation body in the UK, issuing over 2 million certificates a year, with significant interests around the world. As someone who believes that the UK has for too long implemented an apartheid system of education, with vocational learning seen as second class, I’m pleased to be on the vanguard of the fight to correct this situation.

We have three venues; a concert hall (Dome), large theatre (Corn Exchange), small theatre (Studio Theatre) and run the largest, annual, Arts Festival in England, outside of London. As an old Calvinist who came to the arts late in life, this is a labour of love.
